AS MY EYES REST UPON THIS BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY THAT I WAS WATCHING AS IT FLEW AROUND
I FELT MY EYES FILL WITH HOT TEARS THOUGH I SOON BRUSHED EACH TEAR WHEN THIS WONDERFUL BUTTERFLY SAT UPON THE GROUND
MY ANGEL HAD SENT ME THIS SPECIAL GIFT ONE THAT CAN BE SO RARE
JUST TO LET ME KNOW THAT I WAS ALWAYS SURROUNDED BY SUCH LOVING CARE

I GAZED IN WONDER AT ITS BEAUTY MY HEART FELT SO MUCH PEACE INSIDE
I KNEW AS I WATCHED THIS TREASURED BUTTERFLY I KNEW IT HAD BEEN SENT TO BE MY GUIDE
TO REMIND ME THAT THEIR IS STILL SO MUCH IN LIFE THAT AT TIMES MAYBE I DO FORGET JUST WHAT BEAUTY IS LEFT BEHIND
THIS BUTTERLY AS COLOURS SO BRIGHT AND CLEAR IT WAS ONE OF A KIND

SO EVEN TODAY I CAN STILL LOOK AROUND THIER ARE MANY TREASURES THAT MY ANGEL AS LEFT FOR ME TO SEE
THIS TELLS ME THAT THE PROMISED LAND IS A WONDERFUL HOME FOR US TO BE
TODAY THIS BRINGS ME COMFORT IT SHOWS ME THAT MY ANGEL IS ALSO SO NEAR

A tiny golden butterfly
Perched upon my sill
His wings he fluttered gently
To give my heart a thrill.

On the wind I heard a song
Sung with pure delight
Trilled by a tiny bluebird
Such a lovely sight!

Through my window drifted
A fragrance oh so sweet
From newly blooming flowers
Came this lovely special treat.

I'm touched by gentle breezes
The sun warms my frame
I feel the gentle raindrops
I count them all the same.
